Pat's Promotional Poem!

We’re back! So let us all rejoice

As we offer our patrons a triple choice:

Three plays for just the price of one –

 It takes more than pandemics to see us done!

The first presents two dames, quite posh,

Whose pockets are apparently lined with dosh.

They do weekly good works and volunteer –

Nice middle class ladies they appear.

But once a week they go on a spree,

Shopping in every store they see.

What luck to be wed to kind men who are rich!

How can there possibly be a hitch?

Next we again view the wedded state,

But not with such a happy fate.

While the harassed waiter is made to hover

 Two couples are having “a bit of a bovver”.

Did the business/holiday taken in Rome

Cause deviants to play away from home?

What with business deadlines and hopeful promotion,

Sexual shenanigans cause quite a commotion.

In our third play we’re back to two seated gals,

 This time on a boat deck, apparently pals, 

Except one is naive and on her first cruise,

While the other gives advice that’s hard to refuse.

This is her umpteenth cruise, she knows all the ropes,

Dashing her companion’s peaceful hopes.

Wholongs for seclusion, quiet and rest,

Anything to banish this loquacious pest.

Will she succeed? Just come and see

If she causes her pushy tormenter to flee.
